The Salotto di Milano joins the EuroArcade Association

Through the Salotto di Milano Association, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a member of the EuroArcade Association  (EuroArcades), founded in Paris in 2019 and based in Brussels.

EuroArcade is a non-profit association that unites numerous arcades and galleries, including the Galeries Saint-Hubert in Brussels, Passage Pommeraye in Nantes, Galerie Vivienne in Paris, De Passage in the Hague and many more. The association’s membership continues to grow, driven by its various missions:

  • highlighting the importance of arcades and galleries as vibrant living environments and hubs of human activity, both to the general public and to authorities;
  • working towards establishing a Council of Europe cultural route dedicated to arcades and galleries;
  • protecting arcades and galleries as valuable historical, architectural and cultural heritage by surveying them and securing financial support for their restoration and conservation;
  • creating opportunities for dialogue among all those interested in the world of arcades and galleries, including managers, administrators, town planners, researchers and citizens.
